Giving paint the choice of an alternative life
Control and freedom are themes that I explore subtly throughout my practice. In this series I investigate two approaches: allow paintings to dimensionally lift from the canvas or to exist on alternative supports.
Either way I aim to free my work by challenging expectations and resisting constraint.
