Shortlisted for the Wyndham Art Prize 2020
The marks of age are explored in the construction and deconstruction of this paint textile. Through the fading of colour and gradual unravelling I aim to liken this work to memory, still tangible yet slipping away.
The work is secured to a wooden panel. It has a white painted timber frame and is fitted with D rings and wire for immediate hanging. On the front, you will find my initials. On the back are my signature, title and year.
This painting is registered with the NRAA (National Registry for Australian Artists). Details of this registration are provided as well as a Certificate of Authenticity.
